Looks great but both of my cookers are 18" in diameter. I am afraid it would be too close for comfort....if anyone has used this on either a Jumbo Joe or a PBC, I would appreciate your comments!

I don't know why, but on my kettle gourmet cooking system grate pizza stones keep cracking in half after about 6 cooks. I don't understand it yet.

JGo37 that is likely why I think I will purchase a 14" Lodge CI one. Problem is (I suspect but not sure) the one I like has nice handles sticking out opposite sides. I expect it might be a little too close for comfort to stick my gloved hands down into the PBC barrel to lift it out with heat up above 400*. And with 2 zone cooking in place, the JJ is simply too small. Or do you even cook pizza with 2 zones? I have never cooked one other than in the kitchen oven now that I think about it.

Could go smaller of course, but the homemade ones we make are usually made on 14" pre-made crusts. And who wants a small pizza anyway?

        MCS for a 22" kettle???

Good idea - I'll look for CI. I haven't cooked (smoked) a pizza indirect, but I guess you could, then sear the crust...
