Love that PK360. I know guys that have 'em love 'em. Thanks for posting this offer Aaron. Having said that, for a $1000 I'm most of the way towards a new Weber Pellet Grill, or could buy two Weber Kettle with SNS setups and have enough left over for beer. Not seeing the bang for the buck, the grilling field is getting way too saturated.

It’s a really nice grill, that’ll last a lifetime. There’s still PKs being used that were built in the 50s. You think anything Weber makes will still be cooking in 60 years?

The temp stability is phenomenal, nearly Kamado good. Perfect for two zone cooking and closeness of the charcoal to the grate makes searing a breeze. It’s taken over the steak cook off world.

Some things just cost more, you can buy two Fords for 1 BMW. Does that mean BMW shouldn’t be made?

Actually there are Weber kettles that have been around since the 50s and 60s. And I hardly think a PK is light years ahead of a Weber in quality and durability. It's hardly a Volkswagen versus Maybach comparison. You guys are getting a bit ridiculous. Enjoy the cooker but don't put it on some pedestal.

I’m willing to believe there’s Weber’s built *then* that are still going out there, if they’ve been taken care of properly. I don’t believe the brand new Weber I used on Christmas will show the same durability. Whereas you’d have to abuse a PK for decades to break it. For basically double the price brand new, we ain’t talking a 1k KJ here either.

BUT you could go dig a hole in the yard, put chain link across and cover it with a trash can lid and cook a solid pork butt too. so buy what you like

Yes, they are a bit pricey but I do like my PK360.

It is built like a tank. I did ask my children what color I should buy because one of them will end up with it when I go to the other side.

So I too appreciate the deal for the members here.

If the Weber kettle is a Honda Civic, the pk360 is a Cadillac. They cook the same food, but I enjoy the 360 much more.

that said I don’t like most or any of their accessories ( I have most), but I’m super picky.

Good analogy. I used a similar one to someone once, but I called the kettle the Chevy Impala... same general idea though

Dang that's tempting. I'd love to have a PK360 as my portable grill (turns out KK's aren't portable...). But I could also see that fancy new Weber Pellet augmenting the KK lineup. Dang! Double Dang! And in the spirit of the season, I triple dog Dang ya!

Not getting into a big argument, but do you drive a Cadillac to work if you live on a farm? Once again I really like the PK, at one time I wanted to purchase one for my inventory. Then I went to look at it. Yes it is built like a tank, but I have yet to wear out a 22" Weber kettle that cost a quarter of the price of the PK. And if you want to be picky, the PK has 360 sq. in. of cooking surface versus 380 on the Weber. Grilling surface matters to me, one reason I've now switched to a 26" which has 530 sq in of cooking surface.

There's no SNS type accessory available for the PK. Oh you can setup 2 zones like we used to do with Webers but it's not the same cooking experience. And as you mention, the cooking results overall end up being the same.

I'm not bashing the PK, once again I just can't justify $800 (or in this case $1000 with some accessories) when there are a lot of cheaper options. My Weber 26 with the large SNS, the stainless spin grate, fan port, and probe bladder ran me around $600. I get a lot more bang for the buck out of that deal.

But hey, each to his own. I'm glad you enjoy your cooker. Just pointing out the options.

I have to agree. I would like the PK360 for its super-coolness, but at $1000, I can add another $500 and get the Weber Summit Charcoal Grill that I really want.

It really boils down to what you like. I love my old Weber brownie, but I love my PK360 more. They're expensive, but so what. People love their BGE, but I'd never buy one. WSM works for me. For my Brownie, the Vortex was the best accessorie I ever bought for it. Gave away my SnS and griddle pan. Waste of money......for me.

I had a 26” and a 22” Weber. Replaced with the pk360 and a PBC and enjoy them much more. Both smoke much more stably and run much longer than the kettles. The 360 goes 12-20 hours on a load of charcoal, got 8 max on the kettles, but kettles are easier to clean and reload mid cook. For straight grilling they are about equal.

Comes down to what you like.

I think for 700-800, the 360 is worth it. The only accessory I actually use is the little more grate.

I've kicked the tires on the PKs too but ultimately decided it's not for me. Really, the point is this is a pretty good deal for those who are interested in the PK360 and the free goodies, and it's nice of PK to share this with us since it's not a public sale.

I wonder if you try contacting them with your question if you'd get a satisfying answer. Who knows maybe they could work out a deal, maybe a little upcharge for the teak. Mention you seen the deal here.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

            the good one grill

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

            Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!
