15% off the Rib Ring. Is this the best new product of 2018?

Click image for larger version Name:	RibRing-FacebookAd[2].jpg Views:	1 Size:	254.8 KB ID:	606392BBQ Guru liked the response to their 15% discount for Pitmaster Club members on their BBQ Guru CyberQ Cloud so they are offering a 15% discount through 12/31/2018 just for our members on their Rib Ring.

If you own a Weber Smokey Mountain or a round Kamado or a Weber Kettle or a drum smoker, you have felt the frustration of wanting to cook a lot of ribs for a party, and you just can’t get enough of them on. The Rib Ring solves the problem. It can hold 6 racks of ribs or 5 racks and a chicken. It even comes with a thermometer probe holder. Round cooker? Round rack! DOH! It works on any cooker 18” or wider.

When ordering enter this coupon code to get the discount: AR912.

Wouldn't a good portion of the rack be right over the the coals in a 22" Weber kettle with a SnS? You'd have to rotate the whole rack quite frequently I would imagine.

I thought that too, but waited for someone else to comment, as I don't want to be Negative Nancy and poo poo new things...

The drip pan is aluminum. Wonder how that would hold up hanging out over the coals in the SNS?

Intrigued. Chicken in the middle seems like it would have an airflow problem to the dark meat with two layers of ribs acting as heat shields. The whole point in vertical roasting is applying more heat to the legs and thighs so they get to a higher temp than the breast. In the video, he doesn't cut the chicken up, so I don't see the proof of properly cooked dark meat.

For the Grilla, I think I would not use the tray. I already have a heat deflector on the grill, so don't need the tray I don't think. Have to think about the width of the Grilla a couple inches up the side, make sure it's 18"... yep, a wee bit of Pi*r^2 reverse engineering tells me it's at least 18" at the level of the second shelf, and 21" at the main grate. So, yes Grilla will accommodate

    Intriguing.

Grilla customer service sent me a photo where someone had 6 racks of BB's in their OG, with the upper grate extension. They were laid flat on the grates, and the couple of them may have been cut down from full racks to make optimal use of space.

I cook my ribs lately cut to individual bones - Blasphemy! They do use more space that way unfortunately, but are oh so good...

@ CandySueQ I need to be more like you and have for friends. Most I ever cook is 4 racks. @ Potkettleblack in a WSM I wonder if taking out the water pan and having it sit over the coals might solve the chicken issue without the drip pan.

Might... I couldn't say. On the Grilla, I already have a deflector plate, so would remove the pan, but I probably wouldn't do a chicken in the middle... if I had to cook 5 racks of ribs and some chickens, the chickens are going on the gas grill.

Yea I've used a different model and it works okay, really not a new concept. To be honest you can also just tie your ribs into concentric circles without the rack. I agree with PKB, the chicken in the middle seems like more of a come on and more a gimmick than practical.

I don’t see the need for my Camp Chef. I have jerky racks which adds 3 additional full sized racks and I can fit 5 or 6 racks per rack.

I used one of those in my LBGE and it did increase the number of racks I could do. Only problem I had was getting the finished ribs out of it. Maybe there's a trick to that I don't know.

Smaller ribs? Wiggle room for the ribs is important, they do swell up as they cook.

Meathead one of the reasons I bought the WSM 22 instead of the 18 is the rack real estate allowed me to get 6 racks of ribs on it laid down flat. If this had been around, I could have bought the WSM 18 plus this Rib Ring and saved a few bucks.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

            the good one grill

The Good-One Open Range is a charcoal grill with an offset smoke chamber attached. It is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. The grill sits low in front and doubles as a firebox for the smoke chamber which is spliced on above and behind so it can work like a horizontal offset smoker only better. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all. Plus it has a built in cutting board, garbage bag holder, and paper towel holder. An additional work table on the left side provides plenty of counter space.

GrillGrates Take Gas Grills To The Infrared Zone

            grill grates

GrillGrates(TM) amplify heat, prevent flareups, make flipping foods easier, keep small foods from committing suicide, kill hotspots, are easier to clean, flip over to make a fine griddle, and can be easily removed and moved from one grill to another. You can even throw wood chips, pellets, or sawdust between the rails and deliver a quick burst of smoke to whatever is above. Every gas grill needs them.

            Professional Steakhouse Knife Set

            masterbuilt gas smoker

Our founder, Meathead, wanted the same steak knives used by steakhouses such as Peter Luger, Smith & Wollensky, Morton's, Kobe Club, Palm, and many others. So he located the manufacturer and had them stamp our name on some. They boast pointed, temper-ground, serrated, high-carbon stainless-steel, half-tang blades with excellent cutting edge ability. The beefy hardwood handle provides a comfortable grip secured by three hefty rivets. He has machine washed his more than 100 times. They have never rusted and they stay shiny without polishing. Please note that we do not make, sell, or distribute these knives, they just engrave them with our name.
