Hudson Durable Goods- Professional Grade Apron

Just an FYI- These are on sale today. This is the best Apron I have found on the market. It is made from really thick canvas that can take the heat and the grease. $23.95

Good deal for anyone looking for a new option. Click here to check it out. No affiliation with these guys, I just really like this product and I know many here would too. And at $23.95...........it is a great price.

I have so many aprons, lol. Everyone gifts them to me. My favorite is a crossback full grain leather one.

      I'm 6'0 147-ish, I bet I could use one of yours for a blanket.

I probably have ten of them, LOL. This one is a cross back too. Nothing better.

I heard that only sissies wear aprons, that real men don't spill on themselves. But I must admit that may just be conjecture.

Well, I don't wear an apron, but I do spill on myself. Does that make me a real man, or a real stupid man?

LOL, if wearing this one makes me a sissy, then so be it.

I usually only wear one when doing heavy knife work like butchering a hog, goat, breaking down primal, or big cooks where I'm trimming double digit briskets, ribs and such.

      Ordered, thanks I think Spinaker

You will be happy with it. I love mine. I have had it for a couple of years now.

I ruin shirts all the time. My wife is almost insisting that I get an apron!

Wait a second. You're wearing one in your avatar!

Thank you, this is the apron I've been looking for. I specifically searched this site to find a good apron that doesn't let oil seep through like my cheap apron from aprondaddy.com It was a funny fathers day gift from my wife but I actually needed an apron that does it's job while i'm grilling racks!

Thanks Spinaker this one looks much better than the ones in the local supermarket. I have one sitting in my cart ready to order.

Thanks for sharing. I need one bad - got several t-shirts that I pretty much ruined. Got one on order!

Nice! These are perfect for BBQ. Heavy duty and you can use them for other tasks too. I usually put it on when I am welding or working on my truck. Slag would burn through it, but it stops sparks and what not.

Just ordered one. Price is up to $29...but it’s still cheaper than ruining shirts.
Figured I should get one as my "cooking shirt" (a previously cook ruined polo) is getting a bit tired.

Dude you thanks so much I've been needing to get another apron and just too lazy to look for a good one. Do they make aprons for footwear also?

How does it compare to your Carhartt?

I have both and I like the Hudson better. Both work well though.

Funny, I spotted up (grease, oil, schmutz, etc) a number of t-shirts and jeans because I’d forget to put on an apron. Now I just wear those shirts/jeans when I cook. Even have my grillin/cookin sweatshirts when it’s cold out.

I have aprons (plural) already, but I really like the look of this one, for two reasons:

              1. crossback - this is super convenient, and important when wearing it for hours.
              2. A pocket located high up, for the thermapen/phone. Brilliant. Those types of sensitive devices need to get up out of the smear/stain area (i.e. my belly )

Yeah, the cross back makes it really comfy to wear for a long time. Huge plus!!!
