That's dirt cheap. Looked at more of there stuff & $97 bucks for 7 knifes a honing steel with a carry roll. Is a hard deal to pass up.

My girlfriend bought me a set of Mercer knives in a roll. To be honest I was a little disappointed because I thought I would have preferred a single high-end knife. However, I quickly came to appreciate and be grateful for the gift as that set of knives was exactly what I needed I just didn't know it. I always take that set with me when I travel and use the knives at home every day.

* - Weber 26.75" OTG
* - Weber 22.5" Premium cloaked in Crimson
* - Slow 'N Sear
* - Smoke E-Z - 26.75" (The Grain Silo)
* - Lodge Sportsman Grill
* - Weber Rapid Fire Chimney Starter
* - Thermoworks ThermoPop
* - Thermoworks Mk4
* - Thermoworks Dot

* - Favorite Beer - the cold one in my hand (craft beers of all flavors; haven't had a blue yummy in over 6 years) my tastes change with the season so it is difficult to name just a couple. However, I will occasionally have a vanilla porter float in the summer (Empyrean Vanilla Porter w/a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream) as I usually drink stouts & porters in the colder months, pale ales & IPAs in the warmer months. I have to add Not Your Father's Root Beer to beers I use for floats.
* - Booze - I don't really have a favorite, but lean towards single malt Scotch & Irish whiskey
* - Wines - Reds: mainly the heavy stuff mixed in with the occasional pinot noir ( I have yet to meet a malbec I didn't like); Whites: German & Nebraska (hey, I have to support the home team)
* - Favorite Spice outlets - Volcanic Peppers - Bellevue, NE
* - Current butchers: Cure - Ft. Calhoun

22" Weber Kettle w/SNS, 18" WSM, Bronco, Grilla Chimp, Traeger Tailgater, UDS, Camp Chef Tahoe Stove.
Got it coming, thanks. I'll replace the Victorinox in the block with this one - for some reason, I can't stop my wife from putting the knives in the metal dish drain edge down. I think she does it just cause she knows it irks me lol.

I think I've finally got the message through to my girlfriend that you need to avoid contact between blades and hard objects. We now both hand-wash and place the knives below the dish rack on the soft padding or immediately dry them and put them back on the magnet.

Thankfully, my wife does not cook, She hates it, and honestly, I don't like the few things she tries to cook, so, mostly, she does not touch most of our knives, but when she does, there is no love for how she treats anything in our kitchen. But, I figured the Knife roll can be told, Do not open! LOL

Well, I took 13 things out of my cart, and bought this and a blade protector for it, also picked up a micro planer for the kitchen. I had my mind ready to buy the 8 inch Victorinox fibrox. But, it will wait for a few weeks or so. Getting to the point I have a new knife arriving every other week. lol
