Reeses Pie

I did buy 6 Reeses's advent calendars. Six grown kids. Three have children so there is that but the single ones actually seemed happier about it.

My husband and I are whittling our way through a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup cupcake that someone gave us. It's just like that pie--all Reese's peanut butter cup only grown up. It's been 3 days and we've got about 1/4 of it left. A little goes a long way.
I cannot imagine having a whole pie like that to wade through, even with guests at a dinner party. Too much of a relatively mediocre thing. For the same calories (probably), I'd rather have dark chocolate covered salted caramels.

That's a big dose of one-bite-and-done for me! I really like those large thick egg-shaped Reese's that come out in April. To me those are better than standard cups, they have the perfect mix of innards & outtards.

Probably a good price decision.
10.5oz of the snack size Reeses should run about (let's say) $4 per package. So you'd be looking at (about) $20 for 3.4lbs of individual cups vs the $50 for a single decadent showstopper.
Disclaimer: my math may be wrong

So glad this is sold out before I saw it, although I would never have hit purchase at that high price of $44.99. I think I will just go buy a bag of Reese's cups and eat them instead.
