This AmazingRibs.com Platinum Medal winner has an inner double layer to keep in heat. We reviewed this model, it is capable of high enough heat for searing, and low enough for roasting.
I can't find any differences, but maybe Max can weigh in on whether they've cheapened this model from the one he reviewed. If I had room on my puny balcony in Boston, I'd buy this.
Just to add, this deal is a "Prime Exclusive". So if you are not a Prime member, no deal for you! I was not happy when Amazon bought Woot, and things like this are why.
No doubt. I'm a Prime member so not affected by this, but since Amazon bought Woot, the "deals" are harder and harder to find there. It too often seems like it's either a dumping ground for cheap Chinese-made knock-offs, or just another place for Amazon to market deals that aren't deals at all.
