It just depends on how its being used. I really like it for regular grilling. I don't use it for low/slow. It burns hotter and cleaner that blue bag.

Costco in Bayonne NJ has the same deal! Time to load up! I like the competition char, works for me

I bought the 2-pack at Costco a few years ago. Wasn’t impressed. I prefer the standard blue bag Kingsford. It burns plenty hot, and burns longer than Competition!

My wife bought me a 2-pack last week. It wasn't on sale though. I do use and like it. Burns hot and clean. It does burn fast though.

Costco in So Cal (Simi Valley specifically) has the Kingsford Professional briquetttes 2pack (36 lbs) on sale for $14.99, $5.00 off. It might be worth checking your local Costco if you use these.
