After wrapping up deployments in Kansas and Ohio from tornadoes the flooding finally started to recede in Oklahoma and we set up Friday in Tulsa. Our team produced over 3200 meals over the weekend. We partnered with The Salvation Army to help distribute the meals to the heavily hit areas of the community and surrounding areas. We will be in the area for several more days continuing to feed those in need of a hot meal.
We are in need of volunteers around the Tulsa area. If you have any contacts in the area please let them know that we are looking. You can share our social media posts on that as well. They can register as a volunteer by downloading the "OBR Volunteer App" from iTunes or Google Play. This is the easiest way to register.
This is our second busiest Spring on record. We have done over 41,000 meals in 6 different communities in 6 different states so far this year. Thank you again for your support.
