Oh yeah? BBQ Brethron didn’t have squat till I joined them. Now they’re the 43rd most popular BBQ Website around.

And, from one Chicago boy to another, 'Tanks a lot.' I have been learning so much since I first joined. And a big thanks to the core of folks that offer so much guidance. You all know who you are, and I don't want to leave someone out, so I won't name any names. Except for Panhead John, without whom all of us would still be eating on DeHaviland china!

Excellent news for AR!! On the other hand...1 in 17,000. I guess those are better odds to win one of the three prizes rather than winning PowerBall.

As for plates, I have noticed a significant scarcity of Panhead John plates at Costco since the start of the Texas meet-up. Could be the Pinto died after getting to Rockland.

It's actually better than that since only US citizens can win. But 1 in 17k, 1 in 16k, not much different.

GolfGeezer I apologize for the shortage. PJ’s Plates has experienced a severe supply chain disruption, as have many others. Our factory in Ethiopia has experienced a shortage of workers, with the start back of in-school attendance. We’re now boosting worker’s pay to $3.00 per day, which should help with our supply shortage.

I dunno the cooking's all well and fine, y'know interesting and all but I tune in for the further exploits of Panhead John
I hear there's full length feature cartoon's and comic books in the near future.
                But I digress....

Congrats Meathead but IMO the draw here is that you and your team are always looking for ways to make this experience better. From the recipes, reviews and the fantastic knowledge base assembled here the AR website is indeed a business model for the internet going forward. Everyone feels welcome and that their opinion matters and that is not easily achieved in this crazy age we live in. Thanks to you and the great AR team for giving us this outlet (and it is my outlet) to enjoy every day.

It's awesome to be a 1/17000th part of the best social place on the interweb.
I go elsewhere for other things but I'm here most days, it sorta feels a bit like home, well done Meathead and crew!!

We not only get Meathead we also get Panhead John. No other site can boast that kind of membership.

I actually thought I was joining a Rob Reiner/All in the Family fan forum when I joined but I'm still happy with my decision.

The Cool Kettle With The Hinged Hood We Always Wanted

Napoleon’s 22″ Pro Cart Charcoal Kettle Grill puts a few spins on the familiar kettle design. In fact, the hinged lid with a handle on the front, spins in a rotary motion 180 degrees. It’s hard to beat a Weber kettle, but Napoleon holds its own and adds some unique features to make the 22″ Pro Cart a viable alternative.

Grilla Pellet Smoker proves good things come in small packages

We always liked Grilla. The small 31.5″ x 29.5″ footprint makes it ideal for use where BBQ space is limited, as on a condo patio.

Masterbuilt MPS 340/G ThermoTemp XL Propane Smoker

This is the first propane smoker with a thermostat, making this baby foolproof. Set ThermoTemp’s dial from 175° to 350°F and the thermostat inside will adjust the burner just like an indoor kitchen oven. All you need to do is add wood to the tray above the burner to start smokin’.

Comprehensive Temperature Magnet With 80+ Important Temps

                      Amazingribs.com temperature magnet
Winner of the National BBQ Association’s product of the year award. This 8.5″ x 11″ magnet contains more that 80 benchmark temperatures for meats (both USDA recommended temps as well as the temps chefs recommend), fats and oils, sugars, sous vide, eggs, collagens, wood combustion, breads, and more. Although it is not certified as all-weather, we have tested it outdoors in Chicago weather and it has not delaminated in three years, but there is minor fading.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.
