Oooh, mine came too. Sadly, it arrived at the door when my husband was home and I was out erranding. Darn. Wait until he sees two pairs of Rothy shoes arrive tomorrow. Maybe I can send him on an errand--if I only knew when the delivery would be made.

Packaged with the rubs was an SnS for my 22" Weber Deluxe Kettle that I bought to keep my WSCGC and PBC company. Oh, OK, it was only $40 on closeout at Walmart last Spring--more than the SnS cost. I had been using the Adrenaline BBQ charcoal basket in the 22" kettle for smaller smokes (compared to my WSCGC), but the real deal is much nicer. Eager to do a "just for the two of us" cook with it. Searing a chubby SV steak comes immediately to mind.

Dave said to try mixing the Rocky's and Not Just for Beef together for a cook. That sounds pretty tasty for pork or chicken. I'm not a fan of a sugary rub on beef, and Rocky's is a sweeter rub.

Plus I really like that charcoal-grabber tool. Very cool. Maybe I can use it to pluck the package of shoes off the doorstep tomorrow before husband spots it.

Don't lose sight of the fact that the SnS turns the kettle into one heck of a nice 2-zone grill for traditional cooks - steaks, chops, burgers, etc.

Yes, but once I'm wearing them, RichieB , I can use the "What? These old things?" line. Or give it a try at least. I love that benign head shake he gives me when I try to pull one over on him.

I already bought the charcoal tongs, so I didn’t do the special. I’ve pretty much bought everything I need from the site.
