26in Kettle with a "regular" size SnS

    Greetings from Long Island..

I have a 26in Weber and have been using a "regular" SnS. Does it make a differnce if I get the XL? Also, I'm glad to be part of the club!!!

Welcome, we're glad to have you! It will make a slight difference, but you can certainly do just fine using the regular. The XL is a bit bigger obviously so it holds a little more water and coals. But before the XL was available we recommended folks use the regular Slow 'N Sear in both size kettles.

I've used the regular sized SnS in my 26" kettle since I got it after father's day. Works fine. I do plan on getting the XL for longer future cooks Pork butts, etc.

Ah, Rockland County - kind of a spooky place with those hills to the west and Tarrytown to the east.
