I cook on cast iron 99.9% of the time.

I'm taking my JJ with the SnS Basket camping starting today...although of course they're calling for rain & storms rest of the week so remains to be seen if we actually stay the night (tent, 3 kids). Today it's 86 and full sun but tonight everything evil rolls in. Those JJs are just fantastic portable grills though. I picked up a stainless hinged grate for mine and it's mandatory I feel. I really wish they had the lid bail setup for the SJ too.

Looking Good! You know I love those grates. I have cast iron grates on my KEG, I don't find them that hard to take care of. I would rather have them than thin steel wire grates. I do usually use my Grill Grates though.

Spinaker I tried cooking with regular grates on the 26. I gave up. CI grates on the way as well.

I'd take Cast Iron grates over those stock ones everyday of the week!

Yep! I love my CI too. Fixin to order up a set for the new WSCGC. Probably a hundred pounds, but I don't care!
