PS, a pressure cooker has some VERY amazing uses! a small one like that one lets you do small batch pressure canning (for meats and such) as well as smaller batches of Stocks! a pressure canner means bigger batches of both. The Y Bought me a smaller, 8 quart pressure cooker last year for Christmas and we use it for small batch stuff. but we've had a 20 quart pressure canner for year (I THINK it is 20 quart) and we've used it for stock, too. just last weekend, I made a huge pot of Chicken stock. we used a 10 pound bag of chicken leg quarters with the standard mirepoix and pressure cooked it for, like 2 hours, and had the most LUSCIOUS stock. we usually get 6-10 quarts of good stock from that with crumbly bones and mushy meat & veg that we blend to a pulp and dry for dog treats. Pressure cookers are WONDERFUL things! I LOVE mine!
