I also read that blog and noticed that. Their email for subscribers specifically say "Plus a Sneak Peek", I think it is. They are releasing a 4 probe version of the Smoke (I think.)

It is supposed to be released in three days. I was about to the pull the trigger on a Maverick X-R 50. Now I’m going to have to wait!! Dang it!!!

Check the range if that is something you need. I love my Smoke but the XR-50 range goes way beyond. If you WiFi-ing than you are good to go.
