I have a Smoke & Gateway, a couple ChefAlarms and DOTs and still plan on getting this. Monitoring 4 probes when I have 2 kettles going will be very welcomed!

500' range! That is the problem with the Smoke. I can not be in my office with the receiver. So I use a timer for me to go check the receiver , but since it is just inside the house I end up checking smoker so it really doesn't help. And at $90 for the wireless addition it isn't worth it. Should have been part of the Smoke to begin with. The old Maverick I have is a pain to program with all of the presets that really aren't needed. This new Maverick would change all of the and with the added 2 probes and the price will give the Fireboard a run for its money.

I ordered this as soon as I saw the email from Adrenaline. I've been seriously thinking of getting the Smoke and the Gateway, but I just felt like the price is too high for what it is, plus there is still the range issue I have with all of my other WIFI therms. My eyes popped when I saw that 500' range... and only $79! The only drawback is the 4' probes. Even with the price of a couple of 6' probes, it's still cheaper than the Smoke/Gateway that I've been dreaming of.
