Wanted to give really big shout out to the Lavatools folks! I bought a Javelin a year or so ago.
Never thought to keep any paperwork. A bit into me using it a lot and it saving some of my cooks, the thermometer started acting up. I was still able to coax it along and never thought about contacting the company.
An article I recently read convinced me to make contact and explain the situation. I am very happy to say they returned contact within 24 hours and asked for additional info. After a few very pleasant conversations and some trouble shooting efforts, they very quickly had a new unit on its way to me. I did not even have to ask or suggest replacement, remembering that my unit was probably outside of any warranty claim.
I am very happy with the quality of the product and the level of customer service I received. They could have very easily said 'Sorry, but...' and I would have agreed, but they decided to make me a satisfied customer. I will be recommending them every time!
