The bonus is the mrs pretty much does most of the indoor cooking. And, with that on many weeknights cimes times meals like "chicken" and "meat". The mrs tends to err on the side of overcooking for good safety purposes. Trust me, nobody has ever gotten sick eating her food due to food safety..
