    Mind blown...not really

Off by 25 + degrees Thank you Thermoworks! Would post pics but my phone and this site are not liking each other. I keep getting a message saying my file is corrupted. Oh well the Q got its full workout today. I used its magnet on my warming box for ease of sight and it is raining moderately now. So far so good. Bad ass product!

Thermoworks is a great company with great products. I have 1 DOT, a few ChefAlarms and lots of probes, and a Thermapen.

You mean your bi-metal is off by 25deg? That's not bad, unless you've been cooking at one of the hi or low end of the thresholds. I can't wait until T-works comes out with a wireless unit like the Maverick. Maybe there's a patent issue or something, since I'm quite sure they've thought of it.... Then again what would I do with all my others if they did? Probably nothing, I'd probably just think 'hey I should get one of those' but wouldn't.

I just woke up from a 4+ hour nap and can't tell if this is sarcasm concerning a faulty Thermoworks product.

No no sarcasm at all. I am very happy with the product. My bi-metal was off by 25 degrees.

When they do release a wireless (wi-fi) unit we know it will be a very good unit, as well as software/apps, and the price will reflect it. Many of us will buy one eventually.

My wishlist is that it works with my current pro-series probes and it integrates with a bbq guru digiq dx2 type unit so I can control and monitor the pit temp and food temps from anywhere with an in-house unit or a smartphone app.

            There is a 50 wish limit/post fuzzy.

I thought I was at wish #49. I'll need to know the un-wish procedure. :-)

See, there it is...a ThermaQ with Wi-Fi would be the bees knees. A good integrated app would only add to the value...especially if it recorded/plotted temps. ;-)
