ivation (Maverick rebrand) sale today

You may have seen the Maverick ET-733, its display is a lot busier and a little bigger than the 732. It shows the alarm settings on the screen and other stuff, like the label for meat temp settings "BEEF", "PORK" and such.

Oh wow they do. I was looking at the black one versus an Amazon ad for the maverick and they looked totally different. Thanks for the clarification.

I don't know about it being the exact thing. Am I missing something here? The ivation looks like it has more buttons than the Maverick and clearly is a different case. Are the guts the same and the case different? Could be a cheap Chinese knock off so I'd make sure I calibrated probably every time I used it for the first 5 or 6 times.

To calibrate mine I make sure they read the current ambient temp, verified by my Thermapen sometimes.

They look nearly identical to me.

The Deal is still available, I pulled a DW and ordered 2 of the Ivation Long Range Wireless BBQ Thermometer Sets in black on the 28th and Received tracking number today.

Well that was a major FAIL!! I gave them more time and they finally offered me a refund.
