Has there been any new news on the cordless leave in meat thermometers that were discussed here a couple of months back. I do not recall what it was called but I remember it was just a probe you stuck in the meet and it had no cables what so ever. I can't seem to find anything more about it.

Not sure how well those wireless RF probes are going to work in an all-metal cooker that is effectively a Faraday cage. You might need to keep drilling those holes, Jerod ... to let the electromagnetic waves out. Might be a good idea to wear a tinfoil hat while cooking for protection, too ...
Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.
Hope it does as they received 10 times more orders than anticipated so that changed some of the manufacturing and July is the month for approximate shipping with fingers crossed.
You can't say you would't like to not have to screw around with wires.
We have two weber kettle grills (one LARGE and one small/average), the SnS and the Weber Smokey Mountain 18" smoker. We use both natural lump charcoal and KNB for smoking and measure our temps with a Maverick 733, thermopen and MK4. Favorite beer depends on what is cooking (alt answer is yes).
They did some re-design to incorporate their preferred battery (apparently it would not be available for this product, but that changed). They are I. Prod testing and manufacturability, if I recall.
Latest is 1st shipments in the June/July timeframe.
