    Problem with ThermoWorks Signals

So I did an overnight cook yesterday with my Signals/Billows. The device froze on a pit temperature of 154 and put temperature of 235 for about five hours during the night. I turned off the signals and restarted it, and the meat temp was down to 114, and the pit temp was down in the 100’s. This device nearly ruined an $80 brisket. Fortunately, I was able to get the brisket in the oven and save it, but I’m hesitant to ever use this device again. Has anybody else ever had this issue?

I don't have one, but Thermoworks has great customer service - give 'em a call tomorrow.

Agreed. Call or email them. They’ll fix or replace.

I just got my Signals X4 the other day and just tried it tonight. Curious how this plays out.

I had the same problem with the Thermoworks Smoke. For some reason it would just lock up. Turning it off and back on always solved the problem. After the 4th time, I gave it to my kid, and bought a Fireboard. I did make 3 calls to Thermoworks, and got the same answer each time. "Just a one time random glitch. Nothing to worry about." When I said this was the 3rd time this "one time" glitch happened, I got a full 10 seconds of silence. I own a drawer full of Thermoworks products, and love them, but I'm sticking to Fireboard for my smokers.
