    52 Bamboo Cutting Board

    Looks kind of interesting:

Food52's very first Five Two product is back with the double-sided cutting board now in bamboo. It's eco-friendly, antimicrobial, and water-resistant.

I like the phone holder slot. You could use your router to add that to an existing cutting board.

Now I'm gonna watch for people banging their home networking devices against a cutting board...

      You took the plunge?

Been thinking about a wooden cutting board. Any thoughts on if this is really better then a Boos edge grain maple for some reason? Or is it just the gimmick of a phone holder?

I love my bamboo cutting boards.

I have a bamboo cutting board and one caution is the knife doesn’t slide as easily on the board when cutting as it does with wood or plastic. I could be the brand I got, but it was noticeable right away. It kind of grabs the blade.

I have bamboo boards because they are cheap and you can beat the hell out of them and not feel bad.

I love my Boos Boards, but I really only use them for pictures and serving food on. I don't cut on them at all, except I do use one Walnut Boos Board to slice up the prime rib during the holidays. (I know, what a waste, cutting and carving is what they are for.) However, they look really nice and I know they are great to cut on.

As for the cell phone notch, I would not use it, but that is just me. I feel like that is a recipe for disaster for my phone.

I get a full set of Crofton booboo boards when on sale at Aldi's. I get a couple sets a year. Now I see I need to do a couple hacks on the big one...

Agreed! I keep my phone as far from the splash and smash zone as possible while still being able to get to it within 3 or 4 rings if needed ...

I'm thinking of a tablet with a recipe app. And if you screw up, the DoorDash app is at your fingertips...
