hoovarmin Hahahaha Dave. You got that right. But I ain’t got a really cool cutting board like that one.
It’s renewing my desire to try making one myself. I do have a woodworking background. Although I’ve been away from that for a very long time.

Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner with a full insert griddle added. A 22" Kettle with vortex SnS and OnlyFire pizza oven. A Smokey Joe and the most recent addition a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, ThermoPops and a Thermapen MK4. 3 TempSpike wireless meat thermometers.

We have a local family meat butcher shop. They’re selling solid end grain walnut cutting boards LARGE boards 1-1/2” thick for a flat cost of $95 each and the boards are very nice. I saw those and couldn’t believe it.
With selling cuttings boards that low it knocks my boards out of the market. I could actually purchase the boards at $95 and the boards are very nice and turn around and sell for $300 probably easy. If those that make cutting boards for income walked into that butcher shop and saw those boards for $95 it would piss them off. It did me!Last edited by Ghawtho; April 15, 2023, 08:56 PM.
