I use a camp chef italia pizza oven that has a thick cordite stone in it. It seems to hold up MUCH better than the other stones I have used in the past.

Love the pizza steel. Use it not only for pizzas but as a griddle on my gas grill. A workout to move around -I'm gonna guess it's in the 30+ pound range- but pretty bomb proof

          Literally!

We've got both a stone and a steel and make pizza often (inside and on the grill) using the steel. It's been a long time since the stone saw any use at all because the steel produces such great results.

Love to use my Lodge Baking pan. And it fits on 22" BGE or Webber.
