YMMV but I was at Costco today and saw the Lodge Combo Cooker for $29.99. These are usually $35-40 most places. So of course one made it into my cart. I remember once my wife mentioned they are good for sourdough. So maybe I can pass it off as a Mother's Day present?
A couple briskets ended up in my cart too. Not sure how they got there but I guess that is what we are eating for Mother's Day.
I'd like to have one at that price - unfortunately it is not available online and I would have to burn up the difference in gasoline to get to my Costco. Also, I usually need to carry a big sack of money if going to Costco; things jump into my cart, like yours - must be magnetic field or something built into those carts.
My wife is out of town for the weekend and I was was told specifically that I am not allowed to go to CostCo or buy any cast iron while she's gone. It's almost like she knew.

That looks like the 3.2 qt combo cooker. For baking, invert it so that the shallow part is on the bottom and the deep part is the "lid". I use a 5 qt. combo that way for baking sourdough and it works great. Congrats on the find ...
