NEW!! Lodge Cast Iron | Legacy Series: The Fish Pan

Lodge is coming out with a a new vintage style fish pan! I have been waiting for this for a long time. I love the style of these old pans. The square handles are really cool, and you can use it on your Sportsman's Grill! Have a look!

Looks interesting. I don't see it for sale yet on their website. Why is it called a fish pan? That sure doesn't look like fish in the picture!

Spinaker I like the size as it looks like it would be a great casserole pan and general purpose cooking pan inside or outside. Sometimes my Lodge 10" skillet just ain't big enough!

Yep! I had this discussion with @PolarBear77 last night. We agreed that the No. 12 is about the perfect size. I will love using this for casseroles and for frying. It should also fit on my gasser too. jfmorris

Spinaker, I think th initial sale date is 26FEB19, vs 23FEB19, Amigo...

Makes a nice B-Day present, fer myself...

That would fit nicely on a Primo Oval.

I like the wire handles. Might need to investigate this, I love cooking fish too.

I already have the wire handles with the Cook It All. I wonder if they will be extra$?

Yeah! Me too. I am guessing the handles come with it. Huskee FireMan

I love fried catfish. Might need to get this pan just to cook that. Although I can do it just fine in a dutch oven or a regular skillet this one has "fish" in the name!!! Totally justifiable expense.

The great thing about these is you can get more fish in the pan at once. Faster fry means quicker meal!

      Yeah justifiable.

It says they shaved almost 2 lbs. off of the newly designed pan.

I wonder how many lbs. this pan will clock in at?

Yeah, I am not sure how much it will weigh. It sounds like the side walls were trimmed.

Looks like this would be a good all around pan.

Cost ? Or is it "if you have to ask . . . ." Since it is Lodge I assume it will be reasonable.

Yeah, they go on sale next Tuesday. I would bet around $80-$100. Only a guess though. Even Lodge is getting more expensive. RustyHaines

No, But my guess is 16" X 10" It looks big from mot of the digging I did. Price? Probably in the $100 range, would be my guess.

Spinaker Yeah it sure looked real purdy! Just got my 15% off coupon. I need something bigger for frying.

        It is 21.4” x 11.3” x 3.1” - 9qt capacity. If sale is still on $99.95 regular $130.

Spin, it should fit SMG nicely. Spinaker !
