I own A few Field Skillets. They are great skillets, especially while camping. They are quite a bit lighter than normal cast iron pans. I would recommend them to anyone.

I bought a Field No 8 back in 2016. It's nice and quite a bit lighter than my grandmother's Wagner that I inherited. If price is not an issue (I think they are ~10x a comparable Lodge), then I would recommend.

Cookers:
Broil King XL
Broil King Smoke
Weber Kettle 26
Grilla Pellet smoker
Capital 40 natural gas
Napoleon Pro 22 kettle
Thermometer:
Maverick 733
Thermapen (ok..4 thermapens)
Thermo works DOT (or two)
Fireboard (probably my favourite)
Thermworks Smoke (or two)
Accessories:
SnS (original, plus and XL)
DnG pans, 6 or 7 of these
Vortex
Grillgrates
and, maybe some other toys as well
If you are mainly wanting for outdoor use on a barbecue, I would probably go to the cheap lodge. If you want a smooth bottom there are several posts in here on how to sand it down and then reseason it. The field is a nice pan though.
