Found a #9 small logo Griswold at a garage sale this morning, $18! Only issue is it rocks a bit. Figured it was worth it for a wall hanger or a dedicated roasting pan for the outdoor grills.
Anyone have any like taking the bottom back to flat?
I have never done it, but I grew up where lots of old family cast iron hung around. I've had people tell me they heated it up, then pounded more flat, with a wooden mallet or a hammer over a wooden plank on the pan. Not sure if best to do from inside the pan, or the bottom, but it seems to be somewhat malleable when heated. YMMV.
