I gave mine away since it was a pain to clean and I have an outdoor kitchen.

I think Lodge makes a special scraper for them. I have a Lodge griddle that's smooth on one side and ridged on the other. Wife bought the scraper but we haven't had the opportunity to try in out yet. Probably would work on the pan too.

Murdy I have that griddle as well. I use it often but I've never found a reason to cook on the ridged side.

I did the same, not a fan of the ribbed bottom.

Oh geez. Any kind of sandwich. Veggies. Anything really. As said above, great pan.

Wrap a brick in foil to use as a weight, make panini's or a cuban sandwich.

I ended up with one of these in a box of cast iron I traded for. I was pretty sure it was what Alton Brown called a unitasker. Sadly I never found one thing it was great at. I combined it with several better pieces and gave them to a niece at her wedding shower.

It is not something you use every day. It is a grill pan. Nice tool for once in awhile.

I use this one to roast whole chickens in. I like that it keeps it out of the drippings. Maybe a bird will fit in there.
