Bit the bullet today and ordered GrillGrates for my old Weber Genesis Silver B
The wife said no new BBQ grill this year (since I just bought a Camp Chef pellet grill) so had to upgrade it. Read lots of good stuff on the GrillGrates so went for it. My luck they will have a huge Memorial Day sale. . . But had to get it by then so in the order went. Also got the brush too since that seemed like a no brainer.
Now to figure out to make my indirect zone inside or to the back. Guess I'll be getting out my Maverick ET-732 and doing some testing.

I just ordered a replacement set for my 3 year old Charbroil "tru infrared". The orginals were rusted out. They were 15% off for Memorial Day, don't know if it ends tonight, if so I just got in under the wire.
Can't wait to see how they compare to the originals and also how they compare to the new Charbroil "tru infrared" I just bought. The new one has the porcelain coated cast iron above the cooking grate/emitters.
I got 10% off when I ordered so I guess I did OK. I can live with only missing out on 5%. Doing some tenderloin steaks tonight so we will see how things go.
I bought some for my dad's old weber gasser with rusted out cast iron grates. They've totally transformed that grill AND I got them up into the mid 700s for searing over the weekend.
